County of Cullman. Cullman is a rural area and we enjoy country living. We have many farms, many nice subdivisions lake properties and commercial properties too. We also have four large lakes, Smith is the most famous one with over 500 miles of shore line. Cullman County surrounds this lake so it spills over into several counties, but Cullman side is the closet access to our city. Lake George is surrounded by many residential properties, Lake Catoma, extends from the city to the county, and it supports our water for consumption. Our newest lake is the Duck River Development that is located east of the city and is the last lake built because we needed more water to service our growing needs. My wife and I have been in the real estate business for about 31 years. For the past 15 years I have dealt with foreclosures. I guess fixer uppers are my nitch, but I can find you a good poultry farm, and I love fishing so to look for lake property is always good so I can show you some of my fishing spots.
